‘Way over the line’: BlazeTV hosts SLAM FBI raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home

BlazeTV hosts took to Twitter on Tuesday and tipped the FBI for the agency’s raid on former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home that occurred the previous evening.

“Any Republican, right now in office or running for office, who does not actively champion the defunding and the dismantling and defunding of our intelligence agencies, I will not vote for you,” Crowder said during a powerful episode of “Louder with Crowder.”

“This is the act of a dictator of a Banana Republic. Republicans NEVER did this to Clinton, although perhaps we should have. With Joe & Hunter Biden paying zero consequence for his actions. This is shameful and MUST STOP. We don’t do this in America. Way over the line,” Glenn Beck tweeted.

“The FBI had time to raid Trump’s house but we sure as shit still don’t know who Ghislaine Maxwell’s customers were. Weird priorities,” Chad said.

“Is there any news footage of the ‘raid’? Or did the FBI show up to collect/demand materials? This whole thing is working out to fire up Trump base. Martyr?” Jason said in a tweet.

“There is no justification for sending 30 friggin’ FBI agents to the former president’s compound in Mar-a-Lago in early morning and conducting themselves this way or in any other cases in which they’ve done exactly the same thing,” Levin stated. “The FBI is corrupt.”

“This is the worst attack on this republic in modern history. Period,” Mark said. “And it’s not just an attack on Donald Trump. It’s an attack on everybody who supports him. It’s an attack on anybody who dares to raise serious questions about Washington, D.C., and the establishment in both parties. I haven’t heard a damn thing from the Republican leadership in the Senate! Have you? Not one of those guys has put out a statement. Because they’re weak. That’s why.”

Background

Yesterday, TheBlaze reported the raid.

“These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home, Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents,” read the statement from the former president.

“Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before. After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate,” the statement continued.

“It is prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the Justice System, and an attack by Radical Left Democrats who desperately don’t want me to run for President in 2024,” he added, “especially based on recent polls, and who will likewise do anything to stop Republicans and Conservatives in the upcoming Midterm Elections.”

Muslim community terrified by random gunshot murders — police arrest Muslim who may have been motivated by sectarian dispute

The Muslim community in Albuquerque, New Mexico, was terrified by seemingly random gunshot murders, but police say the Muslim suspect they arrested could have been motivated by a sectarian dispute.

Law enforcement officials began to suspect that murders of four Muslim men in Albuquerque since November were related to each other and warned the Muslim community to stay alert to the possible threat.

Within days, they had identified a suspect based on tips from the public about a vehicle they believed was present during some of the murders.

In a media briefing on Tuesday, Albuquerque Police Deputy Commander Kyle Hartsock told reporters that they had arrested 51-year-old Muhammad Syed on suspicion of his involvement with at least two of the murders.

Hartsock said Syed would be charged with two of the murders based on guns that they found in his car and in his residence. They also found other guns at his residence that are undergoing testing.

The suspect is believed to have known some of the victims, but he might have been motivated by anger over his daughter marrying a member of the Sunni sect of Islam when he is a part of the Shiite sect.

Syed had been arrested for criminal incidents in the past including several related to domestic violence.

A spokesperson for the Council on American-Islamic Relations was quick to point out in a statement to the New York Times that sectarian Muslim violence is rare in the U.S.

“Like Protestants and Catholics, the Sunni and Shia communities in this country live near each other, work with each other and marry each other in peace,” said CAIR deputy director Edward Ahmed Mitchell. “There is no significant history of violence at all in the U.S. between Shias and Sunnis.”

CAIR had posted a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest, but they had also excoriated the attacks as motivated by hatred of race and religion.

Police said it was too soon to say whether Syed might be charged with a hate crime or whether they would label him a serial killer.

ESPN writer identifies as transgender, declares, ‘I’m transitioning to male’

ESPN writer Mechelle Voepel announced on Tuesday, “I’m transitioning to male.”

“In sports media, we’re lucky to tell stories of others’ journeys. We have our own, too. Part of mine is being transgender, and I’m transitioning to male. Byline now M.A. Voepel, pronouns he/him. Please feel free to call me Voepel, MV, Michael, Mike; I’m good with them all,” Voepel tweeted.

The announcement was met with positive feedback from ESPN colleagues.

“Proud to be teammates with you, Voepel!” Alexa Philippou tweeted.

“Wow, Voepel! Congrats! How about “Mikey”? Will that fly? Proud to have you as a colleague,” T.J. Quinn tweeted.

“Proud to be your teammate, MV! Forever admiring you!” Charlotte Gibson tweeted.

Voepel’s biography on espnpressroom.com now uses male pronouns and the name M.A. Voepel — the bio previously used female pronouns and the name Mechelle Voepel.

Voepel is slated to receive an award, and wishes to do so while being “authentic,” according to the announcement on social media.

“I have the great honor of receiving Gowdy Award next month from Naismith Hall of Fame, and wanted to do that as authentic self, hence this announcement now. Fear can keep us paralyzed for decades, especially when we think we will lose all that is dear to us, including career,” Voepel tweeted. “At some point, you realize you need to have faith that your happiness/well-being is worth pursuing, and also have faith in other people’s kindness and grace. Grateful for a company that supports all of its employees, for terrific family and friends, and for societal progress,” Voepel added.

“I may look and sound a little different,” Voepel noted. “Glad to be who I’ve always been inside. Dedication to covering women’s sports, a lifelong joy as well as job, and admiration for all involved – players, coaches, execs, fans, referees, colleagues – that stays exactly the same. Thanks!”

Radical leftist gender ideology is an area of significant cultural contention when it comes to girls’ and women’s sports, because many people do not believe that biological men who identify as women should be allowed to compete in female sports.

Man accused of killing and dismembering 77-year-old woman was let out of prison early despite objections

A career criminal who is accused of murdering and dismembering an elderly woman in Sacramento was released from prison early having served less than half of his nine-year sentence.

44-year-old Darnell Erby was arrested and charged for the murder of 77-year-old Pamela May at her North Highlands home in July.

Investigators said Erby dismembered the woman’s body so brutally that she was beyond recognition and had to be identified by the Sacramento County coroner’s office.

Since then, local lawmakers have demanded answers about why Erby was let out early instead of serving his entire sentence even after participating in criminal behavior behind bars.

“It’s at the state level, and really a soft on crime issue,” said California Assemblyman Jim Cooper, who is also Sacramento’s sheriff-elect.

“With this individual, a revolving door, you go to prison, get out very quickly. And these folks know that. And there’s a problem with that. They commit crimes and there’s no accountability.”

Amador County District Attorney Todd Rieb also excoriated the decision by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.

“Shock that’s the first thing that hits. And then frustration and anger,” said Rieb, who opposed Erby being released from prison early.

“This is a man that he’s only been free of incarceration for five to six years over the last 20,” Rieb added. “And during that period of time, he manages to commit eight new felonies. And is arrested 20 times.”

Rieb said that Erby had not made any effort in prison to address his substance abuse issues nor did he participate in any rehabilitation programs.

Placer County District Attorney Morgan Gire also wrote a letter to the CDCR about the case.

“The Department of Correction and Rehabilitation’s haste to release violent inmates is directly placing the community in danger. They’re rapidly trying to release people and seemingly without any care,” Gire said.

Biden administration moves to end ‘Remain in Mexico’ policy after Supreme Court approval

While the FBI raid of Donald Trump’s residence at Mar-a-Lago dominated news headlines Monday, the Department of Homeland Security quietly announced it will end the Trump-era “Remain in Mexico” policy and permit thousands of migrants to enter the country at the southern border.

The decision comes after a federal district court lifted an injunction blocking the Biden administration from ending the policy, officially known as Migrant Protection Protocols.

On June 30, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in a 5-4 decision that the Biden administration had the legal authority to terminate the program. President Joe Biden had campaigned against Migrant Protection Protocols in 2020, arguing it was inhumane, like other Trump immigration policies he has repealed.

Under former President Donald Trump, the DHS required migrants seeking asylum in the U.S. to wait in Mexico for their immigration hearings. This policy was meant to address the widespread problem of migrants coming to the U.S. and disappearing within the country when they are supposed to show up in court. About 70,000 migrants were made to wait in Mexico under the Trump administration.

“As Secretary Mayorkas has said, MPP has endemic flaws, imposes unjustifiable human costs, and pulls resources and personnel away from other priority efforts to secure our border,” the DHS said in a statement.

DHS officials said migrants are no longer being enrolled in MPP and individuals currently waiting in Mexico for their asylum claims to be processed will be disenrolled when they return to the U.S. for their court dates.

Biden first tried to repeal MPP in June of last year, arguing the policy was ineffective and inhumane. Immigration activists who strongly opposed the policy reported that migrants waiting in Mexican border cities had been victims of violent assaults, kidnappings, and other crimes. But U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk blocked the DHS from repealing “Remain in Mexico” after Republican-led state officials sued claiming federal law required migrants arriving in the U.S. on land from a contiguous territory to be detained and removed.

The Supreme Court disagreed. The majority ruled that Congress has given the executive branch discretion to remove foreign asylum seekers, but that it was not required to do so.

DHS officials said the Biden administration continues to enforce the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Title 42 public health order, which requires asylum seekers to wait outside the U.S. and gives immigration officials power to expedite deportations.

“Individuals encountered at the Southwest Border who cannot establish a legal basis to remain in the United States will be removed or expelled,” the DHS said.

Libs of TikTok exposed Palm Springs drag show where young child danced for money — drag queen called reaction ‘homophobic’ and immoral

A drag queen who brought a young girl up on stage to dance for money in a video from Palm Springs, California, is accusing critics of homophobia.

Sabryna Williams claims to have received hateful messages on Instagram since Libs of TikTok posted a video of Williams bringing a young girl onto the stage to dance while an elderly man places money in front of her.

“I’ve been having to delete comments on my Instagram all day where people were calling me a pedophile and disgusting,” Williams said to the Palms Springs Post. “I’ve been doing this for 22 years, and I’ve never seen anything like this before.”

The video on the Libs of TikTok account garnered over 500k views.

Williams went on to say the girl was simply having fun.

“It’s the middle of the day. There were a bunch of other kids there, and that girl was dancing her heart out to every song,” Williams continued. “I asked her if she wanted to come on stage, and she went right on up there.”

The video was from a drag show performed during brunch on the Fourth of July at a restaurant called Oscar’s in downtown Palm Springs. The owner of the restaurant, Dan Gore, told KESQ-TV that he thought the drag shows were inspiring.

“It just uplifts people, and it’s a great experience in all aspects – the music, the dancing, the shablams, the death drops, the costumes,” Gore said. “What kids don’t enjoy some sort of spectacle?”

Williams went on to accuse those upset about the video of homophobia and immorality.

“It’s just another form of homophobia we have to deal with because people are afraid of things they aren’t used to,” Williams said. “We’ve lost all sense of morals and forgotten how to treat other people.”

Williams also said that drag teaches children to be themselves.

“The younger, the better,” Williams told KESQ.

Nearly 30 civil rights and health groups urge USDA to combat ‘dietary racism’ by including soy milk options in public school lunches

Nearly 30 self-described civil rights and health groups have written a letter to the U.S. Department of Agriculture asking it to combat “dietary racism” by including soy milk as an alternative to cow milk in its National School Lunch Program.

The letter claims that “fluid milk” from cows, which the USDA considers a vital component of “wholesome meals,” is not a viable option for many black, Hispanic, and Native American school children who experience lactose intolerance at much higher rates than whites.

“If Black lives matter, so does our health and nutrition, but the National School Lunch Program has consistently failed children of color,” said Milton Mills, a Washington, D.C., urgent care physician. “Either schoolchildren drink the milk they’re given and suffer in class while they’re trying to learn, or they go without a nutritionally significant portion of their meal.”

The group Switch4Good, which signed the letter and with which Mills is affiliated, calls privileging cow milk over soy milk an example of “dietary racism.” On its website, Switch4Good claims that anywhere from 70 to 95% of minority students are lactose intolerant, compared to just 15% of whites. Therefore, by focusing only on cow milk and ignoring the alternatives, “the lactose-persistent white majority is making nutritional decisions for the entire population without taking into account the harmful effects dairy has on BIPOC communities. This is dietary racism.”

In addition to the lactose problem, the letter to the USDA also takes issue with the hoops that students must jump through in order to receive a cow-milk alternative at lunch. The USDA does compel schools to collect a note from a parent or guardian whenever a student requests a cow-milk alternative. It also states that a note from a medical professional “may be used to support a fluid milk substitution for a non-disability reason,” though such a note “is not required.”

“It is patently discriminatory to require a doctor’s note for a nearly ubiquitous condition,” the letter states. “Black, Native American, Asian and Latino kids are being punished for their race and heritage.”

According to The Hill, 30 million school children depend on the NSLP. The letter signees further claim that a disproportionate number of those students are racial minorities.

“It is hard to imagine a more inequitable and socially unjust USDA practice than the force feeding of milk to [minority] children in our schools,” the letter continues.

“Until children of color are properly provided for in the USDA-funded NSLP, the ‘And Justice for All’ posters that the agency requires participating public schools to display in their lunch rooms is simply empty rhetoric as injustices are visited on millions of underserved children each day,” it adds.

Other groups which signed the letter include Progressive Democrats of America, the Maryland chapter of the NAACP, the Center for a Humane Economy, and the National Action Network Washington Bureau, which was founded by the Rev. Al Sharpton in 1991.

Breaking: Republican Rep. Scott Perry says the FBI seized his phone on Tuesday: ‘These kinds of banana republic tactics should concern every Citizen’

GOP Rep. Scott Perry of Pennsylvania has said that the FBI seized his cell phone on Tuesday.

“This morning, while traveling with my family, 3 FBI agents visited me and seized my cell phone. They made no attempt to contact my lawyer, who would have made arrangements for them to have my phone if that was their wish. I’m outraged — though not surprised — that the FBI under the direction of Merrick Garland’s DOJ, would seize the phone of a sitting Member of Congress,” Perry said in a statement, according to Fox News. “My phone contains info about my legislative and political activities, and personal/private discussions with my wife, family, constituents, and friends. None of this is the government’s business.”

The outlet reported that the lawmaker also said in the statement, “as with President Trump last night, DOJ chose this unnecessary and aggressive action instead of simply contacting my attorneys. These kinds of banana republic tactics should concern every Citizen — especially considering the decision before Congress this week to hire 87,000 new IRS agents to further persecute law-abiding Citizens.”

Republican Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky shared a link to the Fox News report about the seizure of Perry’s phone and remarked, “The Biden regime is out of control.”

Former President Donald Trump issued a statement on Monday announcing that the FBI raided his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida.

In the statement, Trump declared, “my beautiful home, Mar-A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents.”

“It is prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the Justice System, and an attack by Radical Left Democrats who desperately don’t want me to run for President in 2024, especially based on recent polls, and who will likewise do anything to stop Republicans and Conservatives in the upcoming Midterm Elections,” Trump said in the statement on Monday.
